What an incredible day for the September Youth Leadership Conference! We partnered with Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) and BCFS for a stress-relief nature fun day at McGloin Ranch.
It was a bright sunny day to be able to take a group of foster youth for a day on the beautiful McGloin Ranch in Mathis, TX. In partnership with PAL and BCFS, these youth experienced a real nature day filled with football, games, fishing, stress bingo and indulged in a true Texas style barbecue with smoked ribs, chicken and sausage cooked by our friends at Blue Diamond Welding. Also included was homemade macaroni and cheese, salad, baked beans and dessert! Even though it was a scorching hot day, it was an amazing time filled with positive change, insight, overall development and a new experience of appreciating nature.
