HUA Hooked Up Anglers hosted their annual fishing tournament benefiting Foster Angels of South Texas. This year was a HUGE success, and we are grateful to have support from all of the volunteers, sponsors, boat sponsors and companies that all played a part in making this tournament one to remember! We were able to take 15 foster youth out for a fun day on the water and the look on their faces after weighing all of the fish they caught was priceless!
Each youth received a fishing license, rod, reel, shirt, cap, food and get to keep all of the fish they catch! Everyone also enjoyed live music by Ty Dietz, Michael Burtts Band and Dean! Special THANK YOU to Ashley Walk and Krystal White for organizing this tournament and believing in our mission. For many of these youth, it is their first time out on the water. Foster Angels also receives a portion of the funds raised for this tournament and we are truly appreciative as this will allow us to continue meeting the needs of all children in foster care in South Texas. See you on the water in April 2023!
