Last week the Foster Angels team distributed goodie bags with Chick-Fil-A gift cards and FAST branded lanyards to 528 caseworkers in Region 11.
Since we were not able to host our annual staff appreciation luncheons due to COVID-19 restrictions, we found a new way to show our appreciation ad support for these hardworking individuals! Lucy Ann covered the Lower Rio Grande Valley out of the Edinburg and Harlingen offices, meeting with caseworkers from Rio Grande City to Brownsville to show them some love while Hilary was able to cover Corpus Christi, Alice, and Laredo markets. This initiative gave them a great opportunity to reconnect with the caseworkers across South Texas. The feedback was extremely positive and everyone genuinely appreciated the recognition of their extraordinary efforts to protect the children we serve.
We are extremely grateful for all of their hard work and ensuring that kids in the foster care system are safe and taken care of. We could not carry out our mission without them!
